We're expanding our inventory and seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Used Car Buyer to join our team. If you have a keen eye for quality vehicles, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for the auto industry, we want to hear from you.

Used Car Buyer:

As a Used Car Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring pre-owned vehicles for our dealership. You'll work closely with management, appraisers, and wholesalers to ensure our inventory meets customer demand and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend auctions to source vehicles for our Used Car Department.
• Source used cars from Service Department by offering customers opportunity to sell their car.
• Work KBB ICO and source vehicles from their platform.
• Speak to all service customers on daily basis—this involves direct communication while customer is here in our service department.
• Build, maintain relationships with service advisors and customers.
• Call, email and text customers daily.
• Achieve objectives set forth by the store on purchases made
• Must have strong personality, be outgoing and capacity to build rapport very quickly.
• Utilize website platforms, social medial platforms to source used vehicles for our used car department.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in automotive buying, appraising, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and market values.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Prior experience with online auctions and digital buying platforms.
