Job Summary:

A highly skilled and results-driven Automotive Parts Manager with over 5 years of experience managing parts operations in high-volume Honda and Mazda dealerships. Proven ability to lead parts departments efficiently, optimize inventory control, and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery and brand knowledge. Adept in vendor relations, parts logistics, and cross-functional team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the parts department, ensuring alignment with Honda and Mazda standards.
  • Manage parts inventory including ordering, stocking, cycle counts, and returns to minimize shrinkage and overstock.
  • Supervise and train parts department staff, promoting a customer-first mindset and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with service and sales departments to support repair and retail operations effectively.
  • Utilize DMS (Dealer Management System) platforms for accurate parts tracking and reporting (Reynolds & Reynolds/CDK preferred).
  • Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely parts delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase retail and wholesale parts sales.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, dealership policies, and local regulations.
  • Analyze sales reports and inventory trends to optimize profitability and turnover.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and promptly.
